Far From Home ch.2It took us another two days until we reached Minnesota alone, and man, was I tired of seeing the open road for so long. Natalie was too, because I could hear her let out a long, annoyed sigh every now and then. Mom was oblivious to the both of our fidgeting, or she didn't care. She just stared at the long stretch of road that lay ahead of us.Far From Home ch.2
A few more hours, later, and I began to see many buildings in the distance. It looked like a city, but not TOO big of a city. The medium sized skyscrapers blocked out the late afternoon sun, making everything look dark, and almost sinister. I shivered involuntarily.
